Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, two veteran Bond screenwriters, have been tapped for Bond 25 following director Danny Boyle's departure from the project.
According to Deadline, Purvis and Wade wrote a treatment — an outline of a screenplay — and the treatment has been approved.
Purvis and Wade have worked on every Bond film since 1999's The World Is Not Enough, starring Pierce Brosnan. Most recently, Purvis and Wade co-wrote the screenplay for SPECTRE. MGM, the film's distributor, has not commented.
