Despite previously announcing that he had quit scoring superhero movies, famed composer Hans Zimmer is back for more and is reportedly scoring Wonder Woman 1984.
Reported by Film Music Reporter, via Hans-Zimmer.com, Zimmer is returning to compose for Wonder Woman after scoring her theme in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Rupert Gregson-Williams, who is a notable longtime collaborator of Zimmer’s, scored 2017’s Wonder Woman.
Interestingly, this is not the only superhero film Zimmer is composing that will be released in 2019. Early this year, actor Evan Peters accidentally let slip that Zimmer is scoring X-Men: Dark Phoenix as well.
